St. George Replacement Airport

Final Environmental Impact Statement

This document constitutes the Final Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the St. George Replacement Airport conducted by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), with the National Park Service (NPS) as a Cooperating Agency.

The Draft EIS document was published and distributed to agencies and the public in August 2005. A Public Hearing/Public Workshop was held on October 19, 2005 on the St. George EIS. Comments were accepted on the Draft EIS through November 8, 2005.

The FAA in cooperation with the NPS, has reviewed all of the comments received during the comment period. This Final EIS reflects the changes to the Draft EIS document and additional analyses and information being provided as a result of comments received.

Text from the Draft EIS that has been revised is shaded on the pages included in the Final EIS. Some of the sections have been replaced in whole because of the number of revisions and/or additional information contained within. Additional information and/or analysis is also provided in appendices in the Final EIS. The Table of Contents combines the Draft and Final EIS document and is shaded to depict revision, replacement, and additional chapters/sections/appendices in this final document. A summary of contents of the Final EIS document is also provided on the following pages.
