Why expand?

The lack of adequate restrooms within the holdroom areas (post security screening), significant TSA staffing requirements for the numerous holdroom security screening stations, a lack of concession space resulting in limited concession choices particularly beyond security screening, small bag claim units limiting multiple flight capacity, operational inefficiencies associated with multiple passenger processing locations, and aging infrastructure are all valid reasons why the terminals will eventually need to be replaced during the timeframe addressed by the master plan.
