Recommended Land Use Measures
This exhibit shows the existing and recommended land use mitigation measures in relationship to the 65 DNL noise exposure contour (in black) for the Future 2015 Baseline conditions. The ongoing remedial mitigation program areas are shown in yellow. Jurisdictions in which new preventative land use measures, such as land use policies, compatible use zoning, and building codes are recommended to ensure that new development is compatible with aircraft noise and operations are shown in brown.
