Current Land Use Measures
A key element of Lambert's Noise Compatibility Program is working with local jurisdictions, both planners and the elected officials (policy makers), to assure that the use of land affected by aircraft noise is compatible according to FAA requirements. This table lists Lambert's current Land Use Measures grouped into three categories: remedial land use, preventive land use, and program management. For each measure, the following information is included: a description of the measure, its benefits for the noise environment, the party responsible for implementing the measure, its current implementation status, and the Study Team's recommendation.
