Existing 2010 vs. Future 2015 Baseline Noise Contours

This map depicts the 65 DNL of the 2010 Existing Baseline noise contour (in black) compared to the 2015 Future Baseline noise contour based on current aviation forecasts (in green). Overall, the contours are similar in size and shape. The 2015 Future Baseline noise exposure contour extends further along the extended centerlines of each runway due to the projected increase in operations in 2015. It is smaller in size along the 100-degree departure corridor to the east, the 335-degree departure corridor to the northwest, and the sideline of the western end of Runway 11-29 due to reductions in departure noise as a result of the continued efforts to phase-out older louder aircraft from the aircraft fleet operating at Lambert.
