Lambert Studies Workshop Three

Total Gate Requirements

Based on the activity forecast, planners projected the number of gates that will be required at Lambert through 2028 for both Terminals 1 & 2. The table shows those projections broken down by aircraft design groups as well as existing utilized gates in 2008 versus forecasted gate requirements by 2028. In addition, gate requirements are depicted by use type: preferential-use gates (a gate for which a single carrier has preferred use but other carriers may use as long as their flight operations do not interfere with operations of the preferential carrier), and common-use gates (gates which may be used by multiple airlines). The table indicates each terminal has adequate capacity to meet future forecasted gate demand levels.
