Overall Airport Planning Issues & Opportunities - Landside
"Landside" is the portion of the terminal site used for public access and parking. A landside site
analysis was performed in order to identify immediate areas adjacent to the existing terminal complex
that limit or provide the opportunities for future expansion. Key factors include existing departures
and arrivals roadway access as well as their current and expected operational structural capacities,
public light rail connections, parking garage capacities, roadway signage and wayfinding issues.
