Lambert Studies Workshop Two

Overall Airport Planning Issues & Opportunities - Building Construction Dates

The Airport's current terminal facility has undergone various expansion and renovations throughout its 50-plus-year history. In order to understand the areas of the terminal complex that are nearing their life expectancy, an overall terminal complex building history was researched and studied. Areas of the terminal that are heavily utilized include Concourses A and C. With the reduction of air service, a 12-gate portion of Concourse D was closed in 2008 in order to reduce costs associated with keeping those portions of the concourse operational.
