The second Public Workshop conducted in September presented an air traffic forecast, the capabilities of the airfield, the current and potential future noise impacts on the surrounding community, and long-term opportunities and limitations involving the Main Terminal Facilities. The information presented was organized into five groups. Click below to learn more about each:

Overall Terminal Planning Issues & Opportunities
As part of the Master Plan Update process a site analysis is performed in order to identify potential
constraints within the existing airport boundary along with areas of opportunity for future terminal
facilities expansion whether that be within the existing terminal core itself or "greenfield" sites
available for new terminal complex development. Important factors when considering the terminal complex
expansion opportunities include achieving a balanced capacity between airside, terminal, and landside
facilities, impacts on existing facilities during phased construction while maintaining full operational
capabilities, minimizing passenger walking distances and access to existing public rail transit.
