Why is Lambert conducting a Part 150 study now?

• 14 CFR Part 150 recommends updating a Noise Compatibility Program every five years or when changes have occurred in operating conditions.
• Changes in operating conditions at STL:
  • Reduction in aircraft operations at STL and nationwide
  • Changes in fleet mix (e.g. increased use of regional jets)
  • Opening of Runway 11/29
• To identify potential noise impacts of recommendations of the concurrent Master Plan Update Study.
• Re-evaluate the effectiveness of all the previously approved mitigation measures.
