TRIBAL CONSULTATION

In accordance with Executive Order 13175, Consultation and Coordination with Indian Tribal Governments and FAA Order 1210.20, American Indian and Alaska Native Tribal Consultation Policy and Procedures, and pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (NEPA), consultation has been initiated with the following Tribes in Phase I of the EIS and will continue through the entire EIS process:

  • Shoshone-Bannock Tribes
  • Shoshone-Paiute Tribe of the Duck Valley Reservation
  • Shoshone Tribe of the Wind River Reservation
  • Northwestern Band of the Shoshone Tribe

Face-to-face meetings have been held with the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes, The Shoshone Tribe of the Wind River Reservation, and the Northwestern Band of the Shoshone Tribe.
