The comment period for scoping ended on January 15, 2008 as indicated in the Notice of Intent, but comments were accepted through January 25th. Scoping comments cannot continue to be accepted as the scope of work for Phase II of the EIS has begun to be drafted. However, comments received after January 25th will be reviewed for inclusion in the overall process. Comments should be emailed to Cayla.Morgan@faa.gov.
To ensure that the full range of issues related to the proposed action is addressed and that all significant issues are identified, comments and suggestions are invited from all interested parties. Public and agency scoping meetings will be conducted to identify any significant issues associated with the proposed action. Public Meetings were held December 3 and 4. Information from those meetings may be found under Public Meetings.
An agency scoping meeting for all federal, state, and local regulatory agencies which have jurisdiction by law or have special expertise with respect to any potential environmental impacts associated with the proposed action was held on December 4, 2007.
